Spending some time with Olivia

When the second child is born there are very few days when she gets to be by herself with mom or dad. This happens to be one of those special days when it was just Mommy and Olivia. I had to capture some of it...

Time Flies!

I think every parent says it a thousand times. Over and over, "Time Flies." I can't believe how true it is. The days go by like minutes, and before you know it a month has gone by, and then a year, and so on.
It's been a long time since I have updated the blog, so I thought I would add a little something. We'll see how long it takes to get back here again!
The kids are both amazing! Olivia is taking her first steps, and saying her first words. She had her first birthday, and made out like a bandit! She has so many people that love her, it's just awesome! Olivia was always Daddy's girl, but lately she seems to want her Mama a little more, which is nice for me. I'm sure she will be back in Daddy's arms soon though. She is just so beautiful, and fun. She likes to play with all her new baby dolls, and the way she interacts with Aiden is hilarious. She is definitely going to give big brother a hard time.
Aiden has started to repeat everything, and is very much in the asking "why" phase. He even says "I love you too" which will melt anyone's heart. We have ventured into the world of potty training, and back out again. We are going to try a new method pretty soon, which I am confident he will pass through with flying colors.
Aiden and Olivia both love to be outdoors. It doesn't matter what they are doing, just as long as its outside! I am very glad about that, we have enough couch potatoes in this world as it is. Aiden is finally kissing Sister goodnight, and making sure he gives her a hug too. Olivia eats up all the attention she gets from her big brother, it is absolutely adorable!!
Paul and I are enjoying all of life's blessings. We have a beautiful family, and a lovely place to call home. We are both so amazed and grateful for everything this life has given us, and can't wait to see what is to come.
I hope to be back soon with another update, but in the mean time I will continue to post pictures on facebook.
