The Groat Family Reunion 2009 Warm Lake

The Groat Family Reunion was eventful to say the least. We fed chipmunks, played horseshoes, watched Nick and Angie get married (pictures coming later),went for a hike, and took lots of naps. Aiden loved it all. All though he was a little too small to play horseshoes he didn't mind watching. Aiden even discovered a pine cone and was just

fascinated with it. While

we were feeding the

chipmunks Aiden thought he would be sneaky and try to stick one of the peanuts in his mouth, but those chipmunks wouldn't have that, it snatched that peanut right out of his hand. That was priceless, Aiden didn't find it very amusing though. Aiden loved playing with Grandpa, I even snapped a couple of pictures of them taking a nap....SO CUTE! We laughed, we played, we had a great time. Thanks to everyone for all the effort put into this trip, it was truly a group effort and wouldn't have worked any other way. My only regret is that we didn't get a group picture of everyone. Maybe next year.

What a Holiday!

This particular Fourth of July holiday was quite the event. Grandma was here, we saw a parade and fireworks on the fourth of July, we went to Warm Lake for Aiden's first Groat Family Reunion. Nick and Angela got married! We even fed peanuts to chipmunks. :) I have so many pictures its going to take me a few days to get through them all. Don't worry they are coming.
